Known as one of Italy’s most important and controversial filmmakers, Pier Paolo Pasolini was first and foremost, one of its poets. Crane combines staged and archival material, to create a beautiful and meditative film, juxtaposing Pasolini’s brutal murder in 1975 alongside the texts he published or left unfinished during his last year.
Shown in conjunction with the short In Search of Avery Willard.
